Description
The OP16 Gas Turbine combines robustness and simplicity with high performance
The OP16 Gas Turbine has an all-radial design which provides robustness, reliability, high efficiency, and low emissions. OPRA Turbines advanced combustion systems offer multi-fuel capability giving the OP16 the ability to handle a wide range of liquid and gaseous fuels.
The OP16 Gas Turbine is suitable for a wide range of fuels. The robust yet advanced combustion systems give the OP16 the capability to operate on liquid and/or gaseous fuels. The moderate pressure ratio of the OP16 makes it possible to operate on low fuel-gas pressure. The OP16 can be equipped with low emission combustors or low BTU fuel combustors.
The OP16 Gas Turbine has an all-radial design which provides robustness, reliability, high efficiency, and low emissions. The four external can-type combustors allow for easy access to the turbine hot flow path reducing the amount of downtime during maintenance. The robust design, as well as having the bearings located in the cold section of the turbine, allows the OP16 to run for 40,000 hours before a major overhaul is recommended.
The innovative design of the OP16 Gas Turbine results in high heat-to-power ratio. This allows OPRA Turbines to generate high exhaust temperatures, making the OP16 highly suitable for combined heat and power (CHP) applications. The overhung design places all bearings in the cold section of the turbine ensuring an oil-free exhaust flow which can be used for direct drying applications.
